General Questions

Is TrackwiseRX free to use?

Yes! TrackwiseRX is completely free during our beta period. When we exit beta, we'll offer affordable pricing plans to ensure everyone has access to professional-grade health tracking tools.

Is my health data secure?

Absolutely. We use AES-256-CBC encryption for sensitive data at rest and SSL/TLS for data in transit. Your data is encrypted before being stored and only you can access it.

Can I use TrackwiseRX on mobile?

The web application is fully responsive and works on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is in development for iOS and Android.

How do I share my data with my doctor?

Generate a report from the Reports page and export it as PDF or Excel. You can then email or print the report to share with your healthcare provider.

Can I track multiple medications?

Yes! There's no limit to the number of medications you can track. TrackwiseRX is designed to handle complex medication regimens.

What if I miss logging a medication?

You can log medications for any past date. Simply select the date when creating a log entry. You can also mark entries as "missed" to maintain accurate adherence tracking.

Can I track my symptoms?

Yes! TrackwiseRX includes comprehensive symptom logging. Track pain levels, mood, energy, sleep quality, stress, and physical symptoms. The system can detect correlations between your symptoms and medications.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. You have complete control over your data. You can export all your data and delete your account at any time from the Settings page.

Does TrackwiseRX replace medical advice?

No. TrackwiseRX is a tracking and analytics tool, not a medical device or diagnostic tool. Always consult with qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice.

How is adherence calculated?

Adherence is calculated as the percentage of medications marked as "taken" out of all logged entries. Skipped medications are not counted against adherence, but missed medications are.

Can I import data from other apps?

Data import functionality is planned for a future release. Currently, you can manually enter your medication history.

Features & Usage

What's the difference between "missed" and "skipped"?

"Missed" means you forgot to take the medication and it affects your adherence rate. "Skipped" means you intentionally didn't take it (e.g., doctor's orders) and doesn't count against adherence.

Can I set medication reminders?

Medication reminders are planned for a future release. Currently, you'll need to use your phone's built-in reminder or alarm features.

How do I track PRN (as-needed) medications?

Set the medication status to "As Needed" when adding or editing the medication. Then log entries whenever you take it.

Can I track vitamins and supplements?

Yes! Add them as medications. You can leave the prescriber field empty for over-the-counter items.

What report formats are available?

You can export reports as PDF (for printing or sharing) or Excel (for further analysis). Both formats include the same comprehensive data.

Can I customize what's in my reports?

Yes! You can select which report types to include (adherence, side effects, health conditions, symptoms), choose the date range, and filter by specific medications.

What symptom metrics can I track?

You can track pain level (0-10 scale), mood (5 levels from terrible to great), energy level (0-10), sleep quality (0-10), stress level (0-10), and various physical symptoms. You can also add custom symptoms, triggers, and detailed notes.

How does medication correlation work?

The system automatically analyzes the timing between your medication logs and symptom logs to identify potential correlations. This helps you understand how medications may be affecting your symptoms over time.

Can I view my symptoms in a calendar?

Yes! The Symptom Logs page includes both list and calendar views. The calendar view shows your symptom severity at a glance, making it easy to identify patterns and trends over time.
